Nitecore has always been a leader in the modern flashlight arena.  Their latest offering, the P20i is a tactical powerhouse and I’ve been very impressed with it.   The high performance 21700 battery offers 4000mAh of power which is enough to output 1800 lumens for almost 90 minutes or over 7 hours at 280 lumens.  As is the custom these days, this flashlight also comes with a convenient USB charging port (USB-C in fact) and also an adapter if you want to use double CR123 cells.

Make no mistake, this is highly focused on the tactical market and certainly not your average household EDC flashlight.  All functions are activated from the tail end with dedicated on/off switch plus a separate mode switch which controls the powerful strobe designed for disorienting assailants.  We also tried out the optional TSL10i tail cap which essentially provides multiple lighting modes for the tail of the flashlight intended for tactical applications.
